The Village is a small cozy low light gem. They have a very nice patio but parking is on the street or valet. The service was wonderful. They have Happy Hour everyday from 4pm to 7pm. Food is $9, although their website shows $10. We ordered off the Happy Hour Menu. We got the Truffle Jalapeño Mac & Cheese a must get. It was amazing not too spicy and the truffle was mild not overpowering, it was creamy goodness. We also got the, Meatballs w/ Tomato Pernaud Sauce and Mushroom Sauce. You get two bowls each with two very small meatballs ( two bite meatballs) and each sauce and two pieces of delicious garlic bread. It was very good. If you like Cream of Mushroom soup you will love the Mushroom Sauce. The red sauce was very flavorful and seasoned well. Then we got the Classic La Loggia Mini Burgers it comes with fries. Now these were tiny tiny ,tiny burgers also a two biter and done. You get two burgers and a choice of shoestring or regular fries. Really tasty. So between the 3 items it was enough for dinner. I will definitely go back to try their regular menu.
What an incredible night at The Village in Studio City! From the delicious food to the lively atmosphere, this place has it all. We started with *Frank's Quinoa Salad*, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Then came the *Wild Mushroom Pizza*--absolutely delicious, with a great mix of earthy mushrooms and melted cheese on a perfectly crispy crust. For the main course, I had the *Village Burger* with a fried egg on top. While there was no disclaimer that the burger comes served on bread rather than a traditional bun, it was still fantastic. The flavors worked so well together, and the fried egg added that extra richness that took it to the next level. To top it off, there was live music by a full band that made the whole place come alive. The energy was contagious, with salsa dancers filling the room and creating an amazing vibe. It felt like one big party, and we loved every minute of it. The Village is the perfect spot for great food, a fun crowd, and fantastic live music. We'll definitely be back for more!
Hip little gastropub with hip aesthetics and chill vibe. Drinks were amazing, we had a bacon old fashioned and a "cool Clemens" tequila-cucumber based drink, both of which were excellent. The old fashioned tasted like it was bacon infused or something. The short ribs and lomo saltado were super soft and flavorful, you can tell they were long-cooked. Excellent dishes, just a little pricey. A jazz band came on around 8pm and brought a nice energy to the place, great performance.
First time Saw IG and blew my mind Great atmosphere for a Thursday night Lovely service My margaritas and mezcal... delis But... Coming back for Cuban live music ... for suuuure
The Village is an absolute gem. The varied menu, fabulous food, service and casual vibe make it perfect for brunch or dinner. Faves: Chopped salad, Turkish eggs, chilaquiles, truffle mac& cheese, pizza, chicken--everything is fabulous. I hosted two events there and the staff went above and beyond. Everything was beautiful.
Food was delicious and the service was exceptional. Great ambiance! We came on a Friday night with a party of 13.
Happen to be in town, so I decided to stop in at one of my old favorites in studio city, The Village. Great drinks and tapas.
I just had a mini post-graduation celebration dinner at The Village, and we were thoroughly impressed by the food and the ambiance! We ordered a grilled, butterflied whole branzino, and I felt like I was eating fish in my Mediterranean homeland. It is hard to find a whole grilled fish in Los Angeles, and this was cooked excellently with perfect spicing. We also ordered mushroom ravioli, clearly made from scratch that same day. The starter was to die for - an octopus and potato fingerling arugula salad. The music and lighting were fun, making for a festive and happy outing. I'll be back with more people.
High marks for being cheaper, yet comparable to Laurel Tavern, Black Market Liqour Bar, and The Garland. Equal to Gray Tavern and The Six Social House. CRISPY CAULIFLOWER & SWEET POTATO - The fry and batter is perfect. Very tempura...light, not oily/heavy. Dipping sauce is creamy, but lacking spice & heat. Fresh squeezed lemon would elevate. PIZZA WITH MUSHROOMS - Not memorable. Thin crust and chewy. Strong cheese and generic mushroom. A splash of truffle oil or creative topping is needed to make it pop. TORTELLONI STUFFED WITH KABOCHA - My fav pasta! Maybe because it's hard to do wrong? Regardless, it's good. Squash is extra sweet. Strong sage. Decadent butter isn't too heavy. Fav dish so far. PINCHOS MORUNOS & TABBOULEH - Despite not having punch-in-the-face spice, it's extra well marinated/cooked. Clean, fresh mediteranean vibes. 2nd fav dish. Healthy, too! Staff recommended Sliders, Meatballs, Chopped Salad - def would swap mushroom pizza for those.
Stopped in unplanned towards close and the staff was really nice to seat us! We sat outside and the ambiance was very cozy and unexpectedly romantic lowkey haha. The food was beautiful but a bit cold when it got to us despite there not being many other customers. The mushroom ravioli was flavorful, and the truffle jalapeño mac and cheese was good, very mild in spice. In my opinion it just needed some more crispy amazingness on top
